Our story

We bring people together around what moves them.

Melodies of Devotion and Quran Expo: gatherings built around nasheed, qawwali and the Qur’an, made with care for the whole community.

Some evenings you attend.

Some evenings stay with you.

We exist for the second kind.

Many voices, raised in devotion, until a room of strangers sounds like one.

What we hold to

Three promises

Not a mission statement. Three things we check every decision against.

01

Voice

Nasheed and qawwali are an art. The people who carry them deserve a stage, a sound and an audience worthy of what they bring.

02

Unity

Families, friends and strangers, every generation and background, side by side. Nobody should feel like a guest in their own community.

03

Excellence

Doing a thing beautifully, as if it truly matters, because it does. From the first welcome at the door to the last note of the night.

So far

Where we’ve been

And where we’re going next.

How an evening is made

The anatomy of a night

What you feel on the night is a hundred small decisions made weeks before.

  1. The welcome

It starts at the door. A warm greeting, a clear way in, and a seat you didn’t have to hunt for.

  2. The light

A room set like a stage, so the moment you walk in you know this isn’t an ordinary evening.

  3. The sound

Every voice heard as it was meant to be, from the front row to the back.

  4. The voices

Artists chosen for sincerity as much as skill, and a running order that lets the evening build.

  5. The stillness

The quiet between pieces, when a whole room is listening to the same thing. That is what we’re really making.

  6. The farewell

Nobody rushed out. Time to find old friends, meet new ones, and carry a little of the night home.

Come and hear it for yourself

The next evening is waiting.
